Blinkpay
Solana Blinks for real merchant payments.
What it is
Blinkpay is a small experiment: use Solana Blinks (single-action payment links) as the merchant-side rail for USDC settlement, targeting the layer of Brazilian small businesses that currently runs on Pix.
The pitch is not that Blinks replace Pix — Pix is excellent, free, and already ubiquitous. The pitch is that for a specific merchant, at a specific price point, receiving USDC directly instead of BRL-then-conversion removes one round trip through the banking system and one FX surprise.
Design
A merchant sets up a payee address once. Each sale generates a signed Blink URL encoded into a QR code; the buyer taps it, their wallet auto-completes the transfer, USDC lands in the merchant address in under a second. A small backend records the sale for reconciliation and generates a Brazilian invoice.
Where it is
WIP — the Blink generation and receive paths work on devnet against Phantom. The merchant-side reconciliation and invoice generation are the next surface to build. If you are running a Brazilian merchant tech company thinking about stablecoins, I want to compare notes.
